Explosion of Femininity in Krakow!

 The ethereal Leona Lewis, energetic Kate Ryan, expressive Kasia Kowalska, effervescent Natalia Kukulska and exciting Tatiana Okupnik... it was a magic night!
The five hour party was distinguished by its very high artistic standard. The DJ experiments marked by the MySpace stage as well as the exceptional vocalists made it the most interesting gig in Poland. The male presenters Piotr Metz, Andrzej Sołtysik and Darek Maciborek also did very well in the City of Women.
The music was accompanied by a multimedia show of the VJ duo “Temporary Space Design” and the best Polish lighting director Grzegorz "Jolo” Barszczewski. For the first time a 500 sq. m multimedia display was used to show pictures from the stage, visualisations, video clips and graphics. The show was made complete by a 180,000 Watt sound system.
The organisers prepared a 20,000 sq. m area for the audience, which was completely filled at the culmination of the evening.
There were several hundred thousand people celebrating in the Old City and welcoming in the new year with an impressive traditional fireworks display.
The organisers, The Krakow Festival Office, took care of the event security: law and order was looked after by more than 400 security guards, numerous Police and Municipality Police patrols, Ambulance services and the Fire Department. Once again, the unique programme and professionalism of the highest order meant that the Main Square was visited by over 180,000 guests.
There were also several thousand Internet users following it live on onet.pl. The pre-recorded transmission will also be available on TVN television as early as Sunday, 4 January at 11:45.
