Her debut single, “A Moment Like This”, released in December 2006, broke world records at the time after being downloaded from the Internet 50,000 times in barely half an hour! Its follow-up, “Bleeding Love”, became the best-selling single in Great Britain in 2007, while her first full album, “Spirit”, which came out in early November 2007, went on to become the best-selling record in Great Britain as well as in Ireland, hitting the very top of the Billboard 200.
In Poland and in other European countries, the CD was released at the beginning of this year, also selling exceptionally well and confirming the singer’s great musical class that is appreciated not only by her fans, but also by the industry. It was Leona Lewis who performed Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” alongside Jimmy Page at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
