Is there a better place to wish each other all the best for the New Year than the Main Market Square in Krakow? Surely not! This is why we are inviting all residents and tourists who are planning to spend New Year’s Eve in Krakow to choose the Main Market Square as their place for wishing each other all the best at midnight.
On the 31st of December (Saturday) at 11:45, revellers gathered in the Main Market Square (on the Adam Mickiewicz monument side), will be welcomed by a dance music line-up of over ten minutes, followed by a midnight fireworks display.
The fireworks, with spectacular birches, bombs, comets, launchers and glittering crowns, is bound to energise the public. The show will be accompanied by music, perfectly matching the visual part. In addition, New Year wishes for the residents of Krakow will be displayed on the façade of the Cloth Hall.
Safety and security will be guaranteed by the Fosa Security Agency, in cooperation with city law-enforcement officers. The fireworks display is sponsored by the Elektrociepłownia Kraków EDF Group, a patron of the Krakow Festival Office.
