Agnieszka Chylińska
Began her career in 1995 at the Opole Music Festival, as the vocalist of one of the best rock bands of the last decade - O.N.A. After eight years together, during which time the band recorded five studio albums (all of them achieving gold and platinum status), they separated and Agnieszka continued to rock with a band of her own, called Chylińska. After the group’s album Winna, issued in 2005, the musicians went their separate ways, and Agnieszka disappeared from the music scene and started a family. The artist, known for her characteristic voice and big mouth, has often been called the icon of Polish rock. She is back now with new material, co-produced with the well known team of producers Plan B. Her new album Modern Rocking surprised everyone with its modern pop sound: those who have always been Agnieszka’s fans and those who have never reached for her albums before. To many of those who either loudly disapprove or approve of the new turn in her music and artistic image, Agnieszka Chylińska has proven again that regardless of the music she plays, she always represents the highest quality as far as her compositions, productions and vocals are concerned – and on her last album her vocal range seems to be limitless.
