Paweł Hetman, known as DJ Namteh, one of last year’s WOW!night stars, has successfully defended his title of 2011 Dee Jay Vice-Champion of Poland. The 29th edition of the Pioneer DJ Championships was held at Discoplex A4 in Silesia, with almost 50 participants vying for the title of Best Polish DJ.

The authorities of the City of Krakow have made the decision to change the format of this year's New Year's Eve on the Main Market Square. There will be no stage or performances by invited stars. But there will still be a fireworks display for the inhabitants of the City of Krakow.

"This year, we decided to cut down on the expenses and change the format of the New Year's Eve party. There will be no stage and concert, but there will be a traditional meeting at midnight to which I would like to invite everyone," said the Mayor of the City of Krakow, Jacek Majchrowski, at the briefing on Friday, the 18th of November.

The new album by Robert M, One Love, was released just two days ago (on the 25th of October 2011). Even two weeks before the premiere, the record had landed at position 8 on the Empik.com Top 10 chart of most anticipated albums. The album features, among others, Heart Of You, the video for which is a compilation of materials recorded during the artist's concerts.

On the occasion of the 15th birthday of the nme.com web site, the British NME magazine picked the 150 most important songs of the last 15 years. These included the 2003 hit by the American artist Kelis entitled Milkshake. It is worth mentioning that Kelis was a star of last year’s edition of Wow!Night.
